Scheduling and Budgeting using AI

About this course

Build and check schedules in MS Project and Primavera P6, create cost loaded budgets, and run earned value analysis with AI support. Learn to find logic errors, test what-if scenarios and produce progress reports your sponsors can act on. The course is available in person or online, as a public class or a private session for your team, and can be delivered in the language your participants prefer.

Who should attend: Planners, schedulers, cost controllers, quantity surveyors and project managers working in construction, engineering, infrastructure, energy or other project-based organizations.

What you will learn: How to build work breakdown structures and activity lists with AI; how to set logic, durations and calendars in MS Project and Primavera P6; how to review schedules for missing links, open ends and unrealistic dates; how to create cost loaded budgets and cash flow forecasts; and how to calculate and explain earned value results to sponsors.

How the course runs: Participants work on a sample project schedule and budget throughout the course, and apply AI tools to check, improve and report on them. Participants who bring their own schedules can apply the same checks to their live projects.

What you take away: Schedule review checklists, budget and earned value templates, prompts for planning and reporting tasks, PMI Professional Development Units (PDUs), and a certificate of completion.
